i woke up late today and COMPLETELY missed breakfast cookhouse duty, but thank God because i just found out that the BOS says that we didn't need to do it for this morning (whew)
on a side note, sunflower seeds rock(:
and i have a ton of christmas cards left to write.

♥ CAMP!!!
yay, okay, finally gonna update about camp! although i don't really feel like it now. NVM! still must update.
Over The Top Camp was GREAT! God was really real during this camp, and during the first worship session, I just had this glimpse of how awesome God was. I was so blown away:D i mean... it's like i don't know how to describe it. it must be better than getting high on drugs, except there's no horrible side effects. i mean, GOD IS SO WOW:D u know? ya(:
felt really released to worship God freely this camp =) i could just jump around and lift my hands, not caring who's around me. and i could see lots of people being released to worship God freely too! that's exciting(: i mean, God is GREAT, and he deserves ALL PRAISE AND WORSHIP. how can u not.. be so excited that u wanna hop around:P but that's just me la. that's why i jump. :D doesn't God just make you wanna jump around?((:
Pastor Carl Bulter was a great preacher! His sermons only carried a few points which he REALLY emphasised, but it wasn't in a way that was boring and stuff. He'll use different illustrations to bring across one point about God. I loved the analogy about how we would be insulting our multimillionaire uncle by asking for just a pair of socks when he promises anything we want for christmas. God isn't a small god, He has amazing resources at his disposal and is willing to pour it out if only we would be willing vessels surrendered to Him!!
God told me two things this camp, and one thing after camp. He told me to be faithful with the little things, i can't remember exactly why now. but anyway, it's something that really stuck in my head. so i believe that's what God wants me to know(: and He also told me to persevere in my dreams!! just because he doesn't answer them within my expected timeframe, doesn't mean it won't come to pass. If it's a godly desire, how much more does God want it than we do! I just gotta keep praying, believing, surrendering, seeking, and being his vessel(: after camp, i asked God about spiritual gifts and stuff. and he reminded me that while it's good to seek after gifts to bless others, the bottom line is that i need to seek him first. as he changes my heart, and moulds me into his image, he'll release his gifts when i'm ready. 1 Corinthians 13. Anyone ever noticed that it's part of Paul's discussion of spirtual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12-14?? Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. heh:D ya, seek God first(: btw, God's calling of Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1 is WAY cool. Go read it if u can=
A lot of cool stuff happened at camp.(: The games were FUN, except for the amazing race. didn't enjoy that one too much, but it was still good to run around with the cg=) God really moved powerfully during the response times, and you could see almost everyone going up during the altar calls and receiving touches from God. even the young ones!!! AND though it's after camp now, you can see lots of people determined not to let it just be a one off spiritual high, and they wanna continually seek God and watch Him move in their lives!! EXCITING!!!:D
oh ya. i'm so happy with my cell:D after the last sermon, we had this prayer session where we first prayed for the cg as a whole, "popcorn" style, and then we prayed for each indivual member. AND WE PRAYED FOR A TOTAL OF ONE HOUR. like, effortlessly(: so encouraging to see them just so.. i dunno. prayerful. last time i would die from just trying to get them to pray as one big group as a cell. when we had popcorn prayer, i thought it would end when everyone just prayed once. so i told myself i'll wait for 10secs after everyone prays once before i end it, JUST IN CASE somebody wants to pray more. to my pleasant shock, they just kept praying! on and on and on!!! like whoa:D:D I think God's doing something great!=) and each of them are really really growing!!! exciting!! so proud of my cg:D they're really a source of joy to me(:
overall camp was GREAT(: and God is the AWESOMENESS!!!:D:D

♥ first ever marathon(:
wah very stress.
S21, camp, army, blah blah blah. soo many things! nvm, one thing at a time..
SUNDAAY!!! MARATHON DAY!(:
Yep, i survived, and clocked a proud 4hrs 47min:D next year's goal is 3hr 30min, anybody wanna come and train with me?
42km really is an amazing experience. so is running with cramps. i tell you, sunday was the first time i ever run until i cry. ever woke up with a horrible cramp in ur leg before? if u have, u know how i felt. except i had it in my calfs, thighs, AND hamstrings all at the same time!!!

but nvm, i went home to sleep. then then then CHRISTOPHER TEO called me. i dunno why, but i was super annoyed, so i just buzzed him off. then he called my house!! so i had to drag myself to the phone and pick it up.
guess what he said.
"hey joash!! LULU JUST ACCPTED CHRIST TODAY!!!" WOOOO:D:D:D
like finally man. after all this time. WOO!!! (:
i'm so happy:D i can't say it enough man. goodness, luxin is part of the faaamillylyyY(:
oh ya. i have to leave tm camp on monday morning because the CO parade overwrites my leave. AHHH!!!
and i have eight guys not coming to camp. bleah.
