todays' lunch really made me appreciate ian and chris. i guess i take them for granted sometimes. now i know better(:

hi friends(:

i just had exec meeting at fen's place with all the exec except for ian. it was really good (: at least, the discussions after the meeting. it's pretty weird how the post-meeting random discussions seem to be a lot more fruitful than the actual meeting. all the diff stuff we see in yf... ya. (:

had a short talk with fen after the exec (: i'm gonna be looking towards some possible(probable) changes, which i guess.. i dunno. i feel a bit sad, but i know it's for the best for the people that will undergo some changes. i really thank God for such an awesome sister like fen who really cares for the young ones and.. ya. to fen, much respect(:

what would you guys do if i change my name to david?

ahahaha.

i guess i'm kind of fond of the name joash, but yet the namesake is so.. eeyur. david is so much better:D looking back on what i was in sec 1, or even j1, God's really had some big impact on my life. i feel that this verse really applies to me (:

preciesly that i'm so weak, yet God has used me in ways i never thought possible. He really has brought me through so much and grown me so much... may i always stay humble and weak before Him and never become proud, because God knows, how lousy i really am. it's easy become proud when people sing your praises, yet i know it's not me but God working through me. what a priviledge to serve the King of kings and Lord of lords(:

i wanna be a david. small, unimportant, so much so that no one will think i am anything at all. yet, called by God, called to be great, and to change this world for Him by His strength and His strength alone(:

His grace is really so... wow. it sometimes blows me away.

okay, i'll just list them in point form as they come to my head.

1) last night, it struck me that.. leaders, on every level, need encouragement.

people, encourage your leaders. they may not look like they need it, but they do.

2) cg team building was absolutely fantastic(:

3) FACEBOOK VERY NICE TO VIEW PICTURES

4) i discovered horrible jc photos of myself on my facebook and i dunno how it got there!!!

5) church camp was tiring

6) God showed me something very amazing (and scary!) about himself at camp!

7) i need to pace more frequently with ian

8) i got a wonderful cg! (young one)

9) the world isn't as beautiful as it is on tv. our world is messed up =/

10) i feel very sad when i see certain people cry.

11) wah looking at old ijc photos make me emooo. not quite. but nostalgic at least(:

12) i can't remember and i'm too lazy to think.

♥ CG Outing!

CG OUTING WAS A BLAST!! :D:D:D

LAN, sakae buffet, and movies(:

lan was matt goh, zhongren, clarice and myself. that was good. although i didn't manage to play footmen frenzy with clarice! =/ next time bah. i really enjoyed the dota matches with matt and zr. i guess dota bonds guys together :P zr's broodmother was SICK. caleb joined us later, though he just sorta watched for about an hour. (it was supposed to be 10mins, but clarice wanted to play longer. who would have thought it was cos of a girl :P)

in the end, we made cher, nigel, and loo juin wait an hour. oops.

sakae was great too (: all the lame jokes and weird cracks. "2 plates of soosi?" HAHA. k lah, it was quite bad. but funny. heh. really enjoyed just the talking and stuff. especially from caleb.

mel joined us towards the end with one of her friends. then cher and zr started talking about guys in RI. -_- it's weird how many of these girls and guys know people from other schools!

lastly was the MOVIE. prince caspian was awesome! and we had like.. 10 ppl watching(: pretty big for my cg outing. new record, yay! the storyline was good, and the lion (was his name azlad?) made me think about God and how he works at times. interesting thoughts. ask me if u're interested(:

to end it all off, talking crap and arm wrestling at macs.

life is good.
