when i started disconnecting on the electronic stuff, water was pouring out of the printer can. like :/ but nvm, managed to disconnect everything and get myself real wet.
i blame the water heater.
but at least breakfast was good(: yummy yummy pizza made by yours truly. ahaha.

joash was inspired by cheryl and decided to cook his own lunch today. and it was GOOD.
joash might post a picture of his yummy pizza lunch later.
joash feels really stressed because people important to him wants to spend time with him, but there is a lots of other things that need to be done.
joash wants to go swim.

joash is waiting for his SAT results to come out tonight.

update!!
okay the last two days have been rather eventful :D
yesterday!
physiotherapy, picked up my smu student card (finally a student again!), then popped by kino to buy the next 5 books in the rave series:D dang it, i can't wait for the other 5!!
next. DRIVING. ahaha. the long awaited driving lessons (: it was lots and lots of fun surprisingly. somehow i got the same instructor for both lessons, which is really strange! but the dude was pretty cool. we ended up talking about army and how he had pti trainees. so they give him chance when he goes back for RT, and... well. he doesn't really give them chance during lessons. ahaha. but it was funny :D he kept comparing turning to SBJ. ahahaha. "look far!" he says :P
and guess what. i met bithiah. like OH MY GOODNESS. she still looks the same. ahaha. it's been, what, 4 years? amazing! catching up was pretty nice(: i still remember sending her home after my J1 orientation camp fire, and well.. ahem. i won't say;)
really looking forward to my next few driving lessons(: which is, sadly, in about three weeks time. oh well.
TODAY.
had a real hard time waking up. ended up making edwin wait for me for 10mins :P ANYWAY. went down to new creation church for their men's conference.
it was GREAT.
firstly, i think new creation is such a great church!! honestly. They have a great vision, passionate hearts, and fantastic leaders that are anointed by God. I love how they keep emphasising in church who we are in Jesus. how we are redeemed, justified, and sanctified in His blood! not only that, but that we are blessed TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS. great stuff(: those who think new creation is bad are weiirddoos. :P
okay back to the main stuff.
i kindda slept through the first session. WHICH WAS TERRIBLE BECAUSE THE CONTENT WAS GOOD. pastor keith is really really funny, and the content was good too (: so were the rest of the sessions (which i stayed up for cos i managed to get a big cup of yuan yang during lunch time!) but honestly, what i got out from the messages was mostly the heart of new creation church. which i already mentioned above. i dunno, i just feel.. ya. it's good stuff(:
a couple of things was really impressed on me though.
okay i'll see if i can go point form(:
1) I think, the more we recognise who we are in God and how His grace has changed us, the more we find joy in God. This is because we realise that we are deeply loved, that we have a great future, that we are great IN HIM, and many other things! And the more joy we feel, the more sorrow we must feel for the lost. true? Because our eyes are opened to see how much our friends are missing out on, and how they are selling themselves to cheap counterfeits that cannot satisfy them.
2) Prayer. We gotta pray. Enough said.
okay, actually not enough said. Stuff it, we aren't praying enough. Where is the weeping? Where is the crying out to God? Do we really love the lost? Do we really want revival? Or are we happy to just say "God, please give us revival!" then continue the rest of the day living in our little world happily while the rest of the world goes to hell. (i'm not being high and mighty, i'm saying WE.) Does your heart not stir as you read acts 2? It says in verse 47, "And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."Daily! DAILY! the early church.. they didn't have big buildings. they run huge programmes with nice dramas and music. they didn't have big budgets to run whatsoever. but let me tell you what they DID do. they turned their world upside down!! look at the Church, OUR church today. and tell me that your heart is not breaking. can you? shall we not pray? Surely NOT! Surely we must bang upon the gates of heaven to cry out for REVIVAL IN OUR LAND. in our homes. in our schools. in our friend's lives. and TELL THE DEVIL TO GET LOST AND OUT FROM OUR FRIEND'S LIVES!
3) Another thing that was mentioned: If we truly know our God and his promises, then the way we carry ourselves would be completely different. True? Think about it. Are we not children of God? Do we not have full authority through Jesus Christ to heal the sick? To drive out demons? To see miracles happen? To ask in faith that God would provide all our needs (e.g. providing xxxx sum of money so that we can give it to OUR building fund? tm412 youth, do you hear me?) and see it happen? If there is no difference in the way we and our worldly counterparts carry ourselves, we a) are irrational beings b) do not truly believe God's promises. Brothers and sisters, we need to rise up!

♥ TM Camp 08
camp is over and it was just great(:
really really been blessed by this camp!! as in, no super emotional highs and stuff, but i think God was really real this camp. i mean His presence (i'm not gonna say smell anymore) was so thick, like whoa. amazing stuff. God is really really awesome:D
camp was really different from the last 4 years though. i mean, basically, no group to worry about. so during the discussion times, i could just chill out with the other oldies (tsura's group VIII. the nobles gases. ahahaha) moses and nat are really such good leaders, i mean their heart and passion and all. awesome to watch :D so i just let them do their thing, didn't wanna interfere. as i spent time with the older people, i realised that.. i'm old. ahahaha. still, it was refreshing(: between worship commitments, and break times during discussion, it was just nice:D
oh wait, just in case anyone gets offended, i don't mean that having a group is bad or anything. i loved every single group i've taken! just that having a breather this camp was nice:D
spent a lot of time with people like amy, liz, tsura, and daniel loke. fun stuff :D they're all such cool people. and as i sat in the auditorium on sunday morning with the rest of the leaders, i somehow felt this kinship with all of them. like.. they're all really fun to hang out with and stuff. and we're all linked through our desire to see our own cg members, and through them the whole of tm412, grow. and i wondered to myself, why do some of us feel so lonely at times? IT'S SO WRONG. so i'm gonna start making a conscious effort to spend time with the other leaders just to encourage them and edify them:D i mean.. supporting each other is just as important as supporting the youngers that God has entrusted us with. right?
and people like eugene goh and amy tan are such cool people :D discovered a lot this camp about different stuff, not about God specifically, but a lot about struggles in christian leadership, and a lot of things about youth ministry and cg dynamics. i'm quite excited about next year!! lots and lots of things to pray for, and really excited to see God work in and through this youth ministry(:
the only pity was that some people that would have really benefited from camp didn't come. but oh well. God's gonna get them soon(:
oh ya, my right foot really hurt halfway through camp. i think i kicked too hard when i was drumming =/
AND ANOTHER THING!!!
5 p6ers shared testimony during camp. like, FIVE. FIVE FIVE FIVE FIVE!!!! WHOAAAA. woo hoo!! PRAISE GOD:D i'm really excited to see what God is gonna do in their lives. very very exciting(:
gonna miss my sec 4s though! but looks like they're having a great time with jeanne and ian so at least there isn't gonna be any worrying on my part(:
one more thing about camp!!! i've finally done something that i've wanted to do for a long long time. i went up to dave reardon and asked, "pastor dave!! CAN YOU PRAY FOR ME?"
and he went, "yep sure! what do you want prayer for?"
being prayed for by him was awesome :D ahaha. just cos.. you know. getting prayed for by a man of God is great! STEAL SOME OF THE ANOINTING. OH YEAH:D ahahaha. but anyway, thinking back, i realised that i could feel God's presence suddenly once again. not that God's presence isn't around, but i'm talking about that "smell". and i know i've been anointed to do stuff for God :D not just that emotional high thingie, but an impartation of God's spirit. by faith, i know that it's in me as long as i remain obedient before God, even if i don't feel it(:
which gave me something else to think about. i want to be like that. so close to God. and being able to just pray and minister to people at any time of the day, not just at ministry times, or in church or stuff. but u know, being prepared in and out of season, dot dot dot. oh, i asked him to pray for me as he was rushing off and it was after the photo taking and stuff. just to put it into context(:

Today was marathon day(:
woke up to the smell of freshly cooked spagetti done by my wonderful second bro. yum! good amount of carbos before a long run :D
today was the BEST marathon ever!!! okay, it was the slowest, but 5:48 is pretty amazing considering i didn't train AT ALL for this one. been injured since the sundown, and i only ran like.. twice in the last 3 months? yeah.. the best part about today was that i ended strong (well, strong compared to my last two) AND I DIDN'T HAVE ANY JOINT/BONE PAINS!!!
WOO!! :D
i feel so good (: all i have now are terrible muscle aches, but who cares. awesome run, awesome weather, awesome timing, God is GOOD! :D oh thank you all those who prayed for me!! appreciated it a lot :D
