as i was cycling out to bishan north shopping centre, i passed by countless secondary school students walking along the streets, including this couple (at least they looked like one) that couldn't have been older than 14 years old.

i can't help but feel a sense of loss :/ it's like my years are passing me by, and never to return.

I'M NOT EVEN 21 YET. HOW CAN THIS BE.

i just had that *above* thought today. quite cool. hur hur. nvm if u dun understand though (:

DRIVING IS AWESOME. ahaha. i'm so in love with driving. can't wait to get my licence. :D i suppose if i go on and on about cars.. well.. it's not gonna make sense. but going up to gear 4 is a nice feeling(:

the weekend has been good too(: FUEL as well as sunday service were great. learnt a lot, esp how pastor william said how temptation often strikes us when we least expect it. cos that's when we're most vulnerable. made a lot of sense! gonna remember that(: and pastor jayme's daughter. WHOA. incredible. bold prayer(:

on a more emo note, the last few days have been very emotionally confusing for me. it's as if someone pressed the "chaos" button on my emotions, but it's just being chaotic about.. nothing =/ like what the hey man. pretty irritating. i wish i could just be clear-headed for one day. i would be a LOT happier.

and i just remembered. i should having qt and not blogging.

wisdom tooth operation today!!!(:

GA is the best thing in the world. ahaha. i completely freaked out when i laid down on the operating table. when they started poking me with a needle and connecting stuff to my body, i was like "eh =/ this is too fast. what's happening?!" on the exterior i tried to remain calm lah of course :P but i was thinking "GA has mortiality rate leh.. what if i die? nvm, God get ready for me!"

ahaha. so morbid right. but anyway, i begin to knock out REALLY fast. next thing i knew, i was like really drowsy and i thought i was still pre-operation stage and i was trying to help them get the stuff on me. then i realised that the operation was over and the nurse was trying to tell me to sleep. i could deal with that so i did(:

and i woke up 15mins later. so lousy right. ahaha.

but i really thank God cos i didn't have any nausea or sore throat :D which are common symptoms after GA apparently. i felt SURPRISINGLY good. yeah! only problem is that mouth a bit.. uhm.. non-functional now. for eating anyway :P i can still yak as much as i want!!

parents didn't let me go for fuel tonight though. might as well.. at least i can make it tomorrow :D i'm really looking forward to it!! woo hoo. and i hope i feel better tomorrow so i don't to take another bowl of porridge=/ what's the point of having meat inside porridge when chewing it isn't shiok at all right?!

anyway.. met shaun ong last night(: cool stuff!!

O level results were released yesterday.

okay, i'm not going to describe all the emotional rollercoasters i went through (u all must think i siao, not as if i taking results liddat:/)

but i just wanna say one thing:

I'M VERY PROUD OF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!!! (:

even though most of you hate your results, i think you all did FANTASTIC. u know you all put in madness amount of effort. some started later than the others, but most of you started earlier than me when i was sec 4 anyway. so well done to all of you!!!

and God still loves you the same no matter how you feel about yourself(:

today was an interesting day. gymed in the morning, had $4 worth of ah ho, and slacked my afternoon away in the office after teaching my understudies about BUC. i feel like killing tham sometimes. esp after he shredded my clearance forms.

later, met darling and chris for dinner, ended up chatting until 10pm. it was good(: it's been forever since the last time i met her up to talk lah! i still have the tissue paper that she gave me with "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" written all over it in many many colours! good memories(:

ended up walking chris home and talking about different stuff. lots and lots of thoughts running through my head.

one of which is this:
if we just focus on making good music and not God while serving in the worship ministry, we might as well hire professional musicians because they can do a better job! the point is that as worship leaders, we have to play skillfully unto God. we cannot have one without the other. but if we have to pick, we should pick focusing on God and not our instrument!

so many things running through my mind :/

this week has been nuts. coming back at crazy hours =/

okok, this week basically.. busy. took my BTT, and PASSED!! WOO HOO!(: that's like quite amazing considering the fact that i only started one day before. so i now have a Provisional Driving License (not to be confused with a qualified driving license, so i can't drive yet!) i'm officially a hazard to all road users around the ang mo kio and yio chu kang region. watch out:D

thursday dinner was AWESOME. dinner with daniel, tiffany, shaun, and chris is just great. i mean, they actually eat like nuts. i like:D ahahaha. cos so often when i eat with other people they order like.. small amounts =/ so if i order more and share, it's kind of.. awkward. BUT NOT SO WITH THIS GROUP!! ahaha. we all had one bak chor mee, i shared a prok porridge with shaun, plus we had two plates of oyster egg and 30 sticks of satay. top it all off with a large cup of sugar cane with lemon. yuum (:

conversations with them was actually very fun. except that chris was being a muahchee and making FALSE STATEMENTS (i can say this safely because i'm 100% sure he doesn't know my blog address) but tiffany gave me some sage advice which made a lot of sense. and gave me something to think about=) quite an interesting thought actually. but i won't share it on such a public place. AHAHAHA. unless u ask me, then i might tell u ;) when prac was over we had such a long talk about bgr stuff. which was interesting cos it's unusual for me to discuss this with older people. but they basically said i'm on the right track so yay:D

talking to shaun ong was ALSO fun(: i didn't realise that he was 8 years my senior when he took me as a tribe leader. that's like.. the age gap between me and the new sec 1s. SCARY. and he told me stuff i never knew about myself!!

for example!

at the 99 or 00 camp (for all you youngies, that's 1999 and 2000. yeah, i have been to THAT many camps), he assigned pamela. shawna, ailin, and beng seng to me. one leader for a day. THAT'S HOW BAD I WAS. ahaha! so amusing :P he had to activate 4 leaders just to take care of me. man.. i must have been pretty bad! but it must have worked out really well cos.. well, i distinctly remembering enjoying both camps immensely :D shaun's a great leader. he used to do lots of stuff for me that i wish i could do for the younger ones. but i can't. cos i'm not as charismatic and as zai as shaun. but oh well (: i'm sure i have been gifted in other areas (i think. ahaha.) come to think of it, it was probably cause of shaun that i felt like i fit really well into tm412. hmm. interesting(:

AND OH YES. running today with emma was the BOMB. ahaha. very very fun to run with her. and she's definitely faster than a lot of guys i know. (ouch huh guys) we covered a good 6km (excluding the 1km to the starting point and 1km back from it) she's VERY much fitter than i expected. i think she'll make a good running buddy! finally i've got a running buddy again! guys.. go.. train youself or something. i promise you she'll kick most of your butts :P

okay. scholarship interview in 2 hours! bye friends:D

okay. i'm kind of free cos everyone is not online.. BECAUSE OF SCHOOL TOMORROW.

so strange.

but good. means there aren't people to keep me awake (:

lemme update a bit. let's see what i can rememebr.

ok, countdown first(:

uhm.. went to camp. kanna *censored* by the great thumb before i booked out. but it's okay i guess, cos it was my fault and i was irresponsible and all that. was planning to join my jc classmates at pasir ris at 2pm but kind of stayed at home cos i cooked yummy carbonara pasta for myself and packed..

by the time i finished packing, my dad came home and told us we were having bbq next door. like WAH LAO. i already catered my dinner at the chalet and it's gonna cost $13. okay lah, he didn't ask me to stay. but family is important right? so i stayed for dinner with them (hence missing yes man with my sec 4s. which sucks. but nvm, family is important) the food was great. company was great. daddy fetched me down to pasir ris (and we kind of hor lan-ded) but we eventually reached.

DANG IT'S GOOD TO MEET THE REST OF THEM AGAIN(:

lulu, dian, gita, claire, kangye, jiesheng, yisan, and all the rest of them. check out my facebook for all the pictures and fun! we just played uhhh.. i can't remmber. oh! we went to the beach! then headed back in time for the countdown. counted down then screamed like frantic maniacs and ran around with our sparklers:D sebastz was asking us what was our new years resolution, and i was thinking in my head "more intimacy with God" but i figured it's very diao for a video so i decided to go with something stupid and funny instead. (i'm still wondering if i should have just said it. but ah well. wrong time i guess) so guess what i said. i said..

"HOT GIRLFRIEND!!!"

ahahaha!! okay lah, very superficial. i didn't mean it k. BUT IT'S FUNNY WHAT :P then all the guys (including christopher teo zhi yang. unbelievable!) followed me and started shouting hot girlfriend!!! priceless man :D then i decided to start smsing different people and make sure all the smses are nice and personalised with diff messages cos i figured no point sending mass smses. it's so -__- and oh! shuxian replied me. MIRACLE! haha. made my day! (as usual. cos she replies once every two months or something) sad thing is that i think she dun wanna talk to me anymore though. which isn't just sad, it's REALLY saddening actually, but i guess kind of expected.

then after that we played charades which i proceeded to fall asleep around 2ish am. so i went up to the aircon room to sleep first (i was intending to just take a nap but aiyah) in the end, instead of the girls sleeping upstairs and the guys downstairs, we just crammed into the aircon room cos downstairs was too dang hot. some of them went to drink and at around 5am, the door opened then suddenly i felt this huge weight fall on me. somewhere in the distance i heard jiesheng's laughter. he must have jumped on us lah. quite funny. ahahaha. stupid drunk boy.

anyway, woke up at about 10:30am when ali came to wake me up. it's so strange you know. i woke up with like two girls in the room (along with other guys too. but the point is, GIRLS. like omgoodness) but i felt perfectly comfortable. i guess those two years spent together really doesn't go away. even though we haven't met in two years, i felt so at home with all of them. i felt 18 again(: it's a really nice feeling. ahaha. and ali is just as cool and brotherly as ever :D

i won't go into the details of the next 24 hours except that we spent the night playing monopoly. 8 hours for 2 games. it's crazy. after that i went for breakfast with chris, a short nap at home, left for dead with my band, and then random walking around PS in a dazed state. and then PRAYER(: with big attendance. very very good. yay. ahahaha.

okay that was my new year's holiday thingies. it was good fun (: expensive fun, but fun.

okay random facts:
1) i realised a lot of people (and i mean A LOT) think i like vanessa. let me clarify: i don't.
2) i had a oneish-two week crush about two weeks ago. which is like WHOA cos i haven't had such a long crush in two years. it was quite fun, and extremely extremely disturbing. only a selected few knows who that person was. (to all u weirdo people who think i'm some kind of pedo: no it's not celeste either.)
3) i keep getting random depressive thoughts. which is disturbing. but i guess it's helping me recognise and deal with certain issues in my life!
4) power of your name by lincoln brewster is such an amazing song.
5) ever since the camp week, i've been super busy until i wanna vomit blood sometimes. can die =/
6) ian wants to extend single-til-21 to 23. *dies*
7) i'm tired. sigh.

oh ya. i'm recently irritated by something. some people think i like to play favourites, etc etc. it's not true alright? if you're feeling like i've not been talking much to you, i'm sorry. i've been busy. all you people (yeah, if u read my blog and i know you do. this probably applies to you) are important to me. just that i don't always get a chance to say hi. so if you want, you can say hi first to me. then we can talk(: sounds good? don't just talk behind my back. it's not nice, it's irritating, and it hurts me to know that you think u're not important. cos you are.

okaaay. now i'm REALLY tired.
