this week has been nuts. coming back at crazy hours =/
okok, this week basically.. busy. took my BTT, and PASSED!! WOO HOO!(: that's like quite amazing considering the fact that i only started one day before. so i now have a Provisional Driving License (not to be confused with a qualified driving license, so i can't drive yet!) i'm officially a hazard to all road users around the ang mo kio and yio chu kang region. watch out:D
thursday dinner was AWESOME. dinner with daniel, tiffany, shaun, and chris is just great. i mean, they actually eat like nuts. i like:D ahahaha. cos so often when i eat with other people they order like.. small amounts =/ so if i order more and share, it's kind of.. awkward. BUT NOT SO WITH THIS GROUP!! ahaha. we all had one bak chor mee, i shared a prok porridge with shaun, plus we had two plates of oyster egg and 30 sticks of satay. top it all off with a large cup of sugar cane with lemon. yuum (:
conversations with them was actually very fun. except that chris was being a muahchee and making FALSE STATEMENTS (i can say this safely because i'm 100% sure he doesn't know my blog address) but tiffany gave me some sage advice which made a lot of sense. and gave me something to think about=) quite an interesting thought actually. but i won't share it on such a public place. AHAHAHA. unless u ask me, then i might tell u ;) when prac was over we had such a long talk about bgr stuff. which was interesting cos it's unusual for me to discuss this with older people. but they basically said i'm on the right track so yay:D
talking to shaun ong was ALSO fun(: i didn't realise that he was 8 years my senior when he took me as a tribe leader. that's like.. the age gap between me and the new sec 1s. SCARY. and he told me stuff i never knew about myself!!
for example!
at the 99 or 00 camp (for all you youngies, that's 1999 and 2000. yeah, i have been to THAT many camps), he assigned pamela. shawna, ailin, and beng seng to me. one leader for a day. THAT'S HOW BAD I WAS. ahaha! so amusing :P he had to activate 4 leaders just to take care of me. man.. i must have been pretty bad! but it must have worked out really well cos.. well, i distinctly remembering enjoying both camps immensely :D shaun's a great leader. he used to do lots of stuff for me that i wish i could do for the younger ones. but i can't. cos i'm not as charismatic and as zai as shaun. but oh well (: i'm sure i have been gifted in other areas (i think. ahaha.) come to think of it, it was probably cause of shaun that i felt like i fit really well into tm412. hmm. interesting(:
AND OH YES. running today with emma was the BOMB. ahaha. very very fun to run with her. and she's definitely faster than a lot of guys i know. (ouch huh guys) we covered a good 6km (excluding the 1km to the starting point and 1km back from it) she's VERY much fitter than i expected. i think she'll make a good running buddy! finally i've got a running buddy again! guys.. go.. train youself or something. i promise you she'll kick most of your butts :P
okay. scholarship interview in 2 hours! bye friends:D
